Emerson’s New Electric Actuators Offer Superior Application Flexibility, Accuracy and Repeatability

FLORHAM PARK – Emerson today launched its new SPRA (Servo Profile Advanced) electric actuators from the AVENTICSTM series, a range of precise and highly repeatable rod actuators.

While only one type of electric actuator screw is generally available on the market, SPRA actuators offer three screw technologies. These include a precision ball screw, which offers exceptional durability and precision for applications requiring the highest quality or throughput, an economical lead screw option, and roller screws for precision, speed and heavy loads.

This versatile line of rod actuators allows users in the automotive, food and beverage, packaging, and life sciences industries to configure electric actuators to meet exact application requirements, such as improving durability or efficiency, rather than just a standard approximation.

Configuration includes a direct CAD file download, which includes all elements of the configured solution, such as the actuator, accessories, mounting options and motor adapter.
